Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Mama Yoga Liverpool ("we", "us") collects, why we collect it, and what happens to it. The short version: we only collect what we need to answer your enquiry and run your course, we do not track you, and we never share or sell your details for marketing.

Who we are

Mama Yoga Liverpool is the data controller for the information described in this policy. If you have any questions, or you want to see or delete the information we hold about you, email mamayogaliverpool@outlook.com.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies. We do not use analytics, advertising pixels or any other form of tracking, and we do not build profiles of visitors or make any automated decisions about you.

Everything the site needs, including its fonts and images, is served from this website itself. Browsing these pages does not send your details to any other company. Our web host, Netlify, may keep standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability.

When you choose to book, you are taken to a secure checkout page hosted by Stripe on their own website. Stripe sets its own cookies there, which are needed to take the payment and to prevent fraud. Stripe's own privacy notice explains what they do with that information.

What we collect

When you book, we ask you to confirm that you are at least 6 weeks postnatal and have been cleared by your doctor to return to exercise. We ask this only so that we can look after you safely in class. If you also choose to tell us about an injury, a medical condition or how your recovery is going, we use that in the same way and for no other purpose.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

Who else sees it

We do not sell your information and we do not share it for marketing. The only others who handle it are the everyday services we use to run the business:

Some of these providers may store information outside the UK. Where that happens, they are required to protect it to UK standards.

How long we keep it

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict or stop how we use it, or send it to you or another provider. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. Email mamayogaliverpool@outlook.com and we will respond within one month.

These rights do have limits. For example, we may need to keep certain payment records to meet our legal obligations, even if you ask us to delete everything else.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
